Most Advanced Real-Time (Real) Spreads Comparison Engine

You’ve probably seen spread comparison engines before, however there is a common flaw in those enginesΒ  – they compare demo spreads which are not representative of real spreads.

We’re proud to introduce you the most advanced real-time forex spread comparison engine out there, using real spreads only!

What’s so advanced here you ask? Here’s the complete list:

  • Real-time spreads comparison
  • Covers over 45 brokers
  • Covers 55 currency pairs
  • Distinguishes between different accounts types in the same broker (fixed spreads, ECN, NDD, etc’).
  • Real spreads sampled from over 10,000 real accounts (no demo spreads!)
  • Determines brokers with better spreads for any time period you choose (up to 48 hours back), in real-time.
  • Determines spread averages and changes between different trading sessions.
  • Data is adjusted to match your local timezone
  • Provides broker’s time in real-time
  • Spread charts can be saved to an image with a click of a button
  • Plots economic events on spread charts for a better understanding of a spread’s volatility.

You can control which spreads and which brokers to compare using the ‘more’ button. Clicking on a specific spread will reveal the spread’s high, low and average for each minute for the past 48 hours, among other metrics such as session averages and changes, and brokers with better spreads, based on the time frame viewed in the chart.

Please note that although spreads are a major factor in choosing a broker, they do not represent execution quality, slippage, commissions, or any other fees of a broker.

The new section can be found under the ‘Home’ tab or at the bottom menu, under ‘Tools’:

As always, let us know if you have any suggestions, comments or general feedback.

Changing The Way You Track Your Goals

Any successful trader will tell you that an integral part of a working and profitable trading system is a trading plan. A trading plan is a set of precise rules which help you achieve your goals. Goals are a main indicator for seeing if your trading plan works and if you follow your trading plan accordingly, which is why it is important to keep track of.

We’re proud to introduce another unique and powerful feature available only to Myfxbook users – Goals – an automated, real time way of tracking your goals progress over different time frames.

Goals will allow you to track 14 different goal types across 4 different time frames (daily, weekly, monthly and yearly).

Moreover, you can browse through the different periods across different time frames to see which goals met, which isn’t, and if you improve over time in achieving all of your goals.

Goals are powerful not only for you but also for your followers – they can see if you’re reaching your goals as a trader or not.

The Goals feature is private by default, however in case you wish to share it with others, you can do so by setting it to public (in the privacy settings of your account).

The Goals tab can be found in the new ‘trading’ section (which also includes now periods), just below your chart.

Another addition is the share button which replaces the ‘report a bug’ button – you can now share each page on facebook and twitter, view the system’s url and invitation (not to worry, the bug report button is moved to the bottom menu :)).

Let us know if you have any feedback or comments.

Have a great week,

The Myfxbook team.

New Metrics – Periods

We’ve just added some new cool metrics called Periods:

The new metrics can be found in the advanced statistics box, under the Periods tab. It will show you the account’s performance of different periods in one quick glance. It will also show you the difference between previous identical periods for a quick assessment of your account’s performance versus the previous identical period. For example:

This month $100.00 (-$52.00) – means that the account profited this month $100 which is $52.00 less than last month.

This year $1100.00 (-$352.00) – means that the account profited this year $1100 which is $352.00 less than last year.

(The new metrics will become available as soon as your account gets updated with fresh data).

Let us know what you think! πŸ™‚

Have a great week,

The Myfxbook team.

New Addition – The Toolbar

Using Myfxbook on a constant basis to analyze your or others’ performance, checking the latest streaming forex news or browsing the live economic forex calendar may become time consuming which can sometimes distract you from trading. To make sure you’re always in tune with the markets, we’ve added the toolbar – a real time toolbar which shows you current data for the economic calendar, recent news stories and forex rates at the bottom of the screen, no matter which section you’re currently viewing (can be minimized):

Clicking on any of the 3 categories will open a more detailed view of the category in question which will also allow you to quickly go to the item in question.

This feature is in beta mode and is gradually turned on for all users to make sure everything is in order.

Your suggestions and feedback on this feature would help us in shaping the toolbar further – if you have an idea on how we can make it even better (we’re sure you do! πŸ™‚ ), do let us know!

Regards,

The Myfxbook team.
