Question:
does the following mean that US contestants are not eligible for a prize in this contest!?
“Please be advised, the services and products offered by Enfinium Pty Ltd are not being offered within the United States and are not offered to US residents or citizens. Enfinium Pty Ltd is not registered with any US regulator including the National Futures Association (“NFA”) and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (“CFTC”).”

Hi,
since VantageFX is the sponsor of this event, does this mean that only VantageFX MT4 demo can be used during the contest?
Or are other MT4s also allowed?
Thank you organizers.
Cheers,
Michael

Cheers,
some other very important questions before registering.
The T&C state that all participants should start out with a US $ 50k account and with 1:100 leverage. Are you going to check out at the end of the contest that the best performers complied with these rules?
Also, what will be the margin call and stop-out levels? If there’s a possibility to open various MT4 demo accounts with different companies, then these will vary according to the respective brokerages, correct? However, I think that – with the help of analyzing historical max. relative draw-down levels – there should be a special rule to exclude those contestants whose equity ever fell below 50% of margin requirement.
Since it is not totally fair if some participants can go as far as 1% equity (free margin)/min. margin because their MT4 demo brokerages’ rules allow such lax trading behavior. That would be an unfair advantage over those who have to maintain at least 50% equity (free margin)/margin.
What do you think???
Thank you very much for the clarification.
I will surely participate with my newest automated strategy and wish every participant a great many pips!
Best,
Mike

Mike, you are provided with a dedicated trading account which has the correct starting balance and leverage – you don’t need to open any other accounts and you can use only this account to trade in the contest.
Margin calls and stop out levels are the default trading terms of Vantage FX which you should be able to find on their website http://www.vantagefx.com/
All traders will have the same trading terms, so each trader has an equal winning chance, including yourself

P.S.
Some clarification on my part:
I actually meant 50% free margin level, because this one of the most common thresholds where a compulsory stop-out takes place.
Hope, of course, not to see anything like that.

I want to ask about the last rule
*New accounts are subject to approval. If an account is not approved, Vantage FX will provide a cash prize, to be determined at Vantage FX discretion (minimum of half the value of the trading account prize).
Is the new account means account in myfxbook or vantagefx..?
If in the vantagefx so the prize will be send by cash or to the account in vantage fx?

Calwin, by “new account” the terms refer to an account with Vantage FX.
The prize will be given in a form of a funded account, from which funds can be withdrawn after a period of 30 days from the date the account is opened.

No, there is no requirement to “reveal” the trading system.
You can ask the winners for more information, either by posting in their system’s discussion thread, or by sending a private message.
