Contests Are Finally Here!

We are proud to announce the opening of our new contests section! You can now register to the first contest which will begin in 2 weeks time:

Although you compete with a demo account, $3,500 will be given out (yes, real money):

  • $2,000 for first place
  • $1,000 for second place
  • $500 for third place

We would like to thank FXDD for being the sponsors of our first contest ever! Thanks guys!

Some more updates:

  • We have created a new MetaTrader connection wizard and troubleshooter for quicker help.
  • We have created a new Myfxbook EA which doesn’t use the built-in publisher (FTP) but it’s own connection (HTTP) to our servers. In other words, it’s much better than the publisher. Check out the differences here.
  • Brokers can now be sorted:

Regards,

The Myfxbook team.

i have a question whats the maximum leverage that can be set in the contest? is it more than 100:1? mine i have set it to 100:1 and i was considering changing it…..

    myfxbook Reply:

We don’t have a limit for the leverage in the contest, so it’s up to you. It’s not possible to change leverage for an existing account, so you would have to open another demo with a different leverage and connect it to Myfxbook (And set the correct contest account).

I have a suggestion can it be possible for myfxbook to list the number of contestants with their accounts so that we are sure we have connected the right accounts? maybe possibly before the start of the contest?

    Myfxbook Reply:

Well, the accounts must be processed by FXDD first, in order to confirm they are correct and reset the data (balance, history etc’) if needed.
In any case, if you’ve set up an incorrect account, you will receive an alternative login credentials for a newly created account, which you can use in the contest.
